Priority Implementation for US Listed Companies
From the Second Half, Also for Korean Stock Market Stocks
BC Card is launching the financial sector's first AI investment assistant service based on the latest version of ChatGPT, 'GPT-4'.
BC Card announced that this service will begin on the 31st.
The AI investment assistant service is available to anyone who signs up for the lifestyle finance platform Paybook, even without a BC Card. It is provided through the 'Buligi' menu in Paybook's asset management service called ‘THE Buja’.
For the first time in the financial sector, generative AI technology is used to conveniently provide the latest financial technology information tailored to individual investment preferences. In particular, the latest version of ChatGPT, 'GPT-4', is applied to collect and learn the latest information in real time. Additionally, users can clearly identify the sources of data, ensuring the reliability of the results.
First, to support customers' rational investment decisions, key investment information that should not be missed is summarized and provided. Twice a day on weekdays, before the U.S. stock exchange opens (21:00) and after it closes (08:00), various market indicators and real-time key information such as disclosures and news related to customer-set interest stocks are briefed in a clear and concise manner.
A chatbot service is also provided that allows 24/7 Q&A about the briefings throughout the year. For example, if a customer asks an additional question like “How will the interest rate hike affect electric vehicle company stocks?” regarding the briefing on the U.S. interest rate increase, the GPT-4 technology organizes real-time information and provides an answer. Difficult economic terms are also explained in an easy-to-understand way when asked to the chatbot.
The AI investment assistant service will initially be provided for U.S.-listed stocks. The service for domestically listed stocks is scheduled to launch later this year.
Jomyeong-sik, Executive Director of BC Card, said, "Paybook’s AI investment assistant service will greatly help customers expand their financial experience from consumption to investment," adding, "As the financial sector’s first GPT-4 investment assistant, it will lower customers’ psychological barriers to financial investment, which can often feel difficult."
