Tomato-Themed Experiences, Exhibitions, and Performances Presented
Ottogi announced on the 31st that it will sponsor the '2023 Hwacheon Tomato Festival,' a representative summer festival in Korea.
This year's festival will be held from August 3rd to 6th in the cultural village urban planning road area of Sachang-ri, Sanae-myeon, Hwacheon-gun, Gangwon-do. The venue is divided into six themed zones: ▲Performance Zone ▲Event Zone ▲Play Zone ▲Experience Zone ▲Food & Sales Zone ▲Promotion & Exhibition Zone, where over 40 programs featuring tomato-themed experiences, exhibitions, performances, and sales of local agricultural specialties will be operated.
Ottogi has been sponsoring the Hwacheon Tomato Festival since 2004. To offer abundant enjoyment to visitors this year, various programs have been prepared. On August 4th and 5th, the Performance Zone will host the event 'A Thousand People's Table with Ottogi,' where 1,000 servings of tomato pasta will be made and provided to participants. At the Ottogi Promotion Hall, which operates permanently in the Promotion & Exhibition Zone, representative products including 'Ottogi Tomato Ketchup' will be exhibited and sold, along with various tasting and sampling events planned.
An Ottogi representative stated, "We have been continuously sponsoring the Hwacheon Tomato Festival to contribute to revitalizing the local economy by enhancing the value of regional resources," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in coexistence with the local community and fulfill our corporate social responsibility."
