Samsung Electronics announced that pre-orders for the 'Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5' will be held from the 1st to the 7th of next month. The official domestic release date is August 11.

The 'Galaxy Z Flip5' will be available in four colors: Mint, Cream, Lavender, and Graphite. The 256GB model is priced at 1,399,200 KRW, and the 512GB model at 1,520,200 KRW. The 'Galaxy Z Fold5' will be released in three colors: Ice Blue, Cream, and Phantom Black. The 256GB model costs 2,097,700 KRW, and the 512GB model is 2,218,700 KRW.
Samsung Electronics will also launch unlocked models with exclusive colors available only on 'Samsung.com' and at 'Samsung Gangnam.' The 'Galaxy Z Flip5' will have four exclusive colors: Green, Yellow, Gray, and Blue, while the 'Galaxy Z Fold5' will have two exclusive colors: Gray and Blue. Additionally, the 'Galaxy Z Fold5 1TB' model will be exclusively available on Samsung.com and Samsung Gangnam, priced at 2,460,700 KRW.
Pre-orders for the 'Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5' will be available nationwide at Samsung Stores, Samsung.com, mobile carrier online and offline stores, as well as open markets. On August 1 at midnight, live commerce will begin through Samsung.com, Naver, Gmarket, 11st, Coupang, SSG.com, and CJ OnStyle.
Customers who pre-order can receive and activate their products starting August 8, and after activation, they can apply for purchase benefits through the 'Samsung.com' app.

Samsung Electronics will offer a 'Double Storage' benefit to customers who pre-order the 256GB models of the 'Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5,' upgrading their storage to the 512GB model at no extra cost. The 512GB models of the 'Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5' will not be available for pre-order.
Additionally, a one-year 'Samsung Care+ Damage Protection' plan will be provided, which includes damage compensation, instant repair discounts, and on-site repair services to ensure worry-free use of the products. Genuine cases will also be provided: 'Flipsuit' cases that complete a seamless design for 'Galaxy Z Flip5' pre-order customers, and 'Slim S Pen' cases for 'Galaxy Z Fold5' pre-order customers.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics will exclusively conduct pre-orders for the 'Galaxy Z Fold5 1TB' model on 'Samsung.com' and at 'Samsung Gangnam.' Customers who pre-order this model will receive a 'Galaxy Watch6 44mm Bluetooth' model as a gift.
Various benefits to enhance product usability will also be offered to pre-order customers. 'Galaxy Z Flip5' pre-order customers will receive a 3-month free VIP service for the 'SNOW' app, which provides unique selfie features and various emotional filters when using the camera. 'Galaxy Z Fold5' pre-order customers will receive an item package worth approximately 100,000 KRW for the new MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) 'Ares: Rise of Guardians.' Additionally, a 100,000 KRW discount coupon for purchasing the 'Galaxy Watch6 series' via the Samsung.com app will be provided.
Moreover, customers will receive a 30% discount coupon usable for purchasing the 'SmartThings Station' or '25W PD Charger,' as well as a coupon for one free application of a genuine protective film at Samsung Electronics Service Centers. Other content benefits include a 4-month trial of 'YouTube Premium,' a 6-month trial of 'Microsoft 365 Basic,' and a 3-month subscription to the audiobook platform 'Willa.'
Samsung Electronics will operate a 'Trade-In' program until September 30, offering up to an additional 150,000 KRW compensation when customers trade in their Galaxy smartphones upon purchasing the 'Galaxy Z Flip5' or 'Galaxy Z Fold5.' The trade-in program is limited to certain Galaxy smartphone models. This program allows customers to purchase products at a more reasonable price.
