Ulsan Ulju-gun Volunteer Center (Chairman Son Deok-hyun) conducted a house repair volunteer activity on the 30th together with the New Ulsan Rotary Club for elderly single-person households receiving basic national livelihood benefits in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun.
On the 30th, the Ulju-gun Volunteer Center conducted a house repair volunteer activity of love together with the New Ulsan Rotary Club.
The members who participated in the volunteer activity on that day carried out house repair work such as ceiling waterproofing and repairs in preparation for the summer rainy season, and replacement of lights and sinks, creating a comfortable and safe living environment.
Kim Young-chul, president of the New Ulsan Rotary Club, said, “I thank the members who actively participated in the volunteer activity for neighbors in need despite the hot weather,” and added, “I hope the elderly can live a healthy life in a comfortable environment.”
The Ulju-gun Volunteer Center supports house repairs for 30 to 40 households each year that are in vulnerable living conditions due to economic difficulties.
