The Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 29th that they have sent Judge A (42), who works at a local court, to the prosecution without detention on charges of violating the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Prostitution.

According to the police, Judge A is accused of paying 150,000 won to a woman in her 30s, Ms. B, whom he met through an application (app) at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 4 p.m. on the 22nd of last month, in exchange for prostitution.

The police apprehended Ms. B at the hotel around 6 p.m. on the same day and identified Judge A, who had already left the hotel, leading to his booking. During the police investigation, Judge A reportedly stated that he was in Seoul for a work-related business trip at the time.
