Now in its third year, the local young artists exhibition aims to enhance the region's artistic creativity and expand the social and economic value of art. Furthermore, it seeks to broaden creative opportunities for young artists who will lead the future of local visual arts, reduce entry barriers to the art scene, and explore the development direction of Gumi art.

The exhibition title "Blue Sky Blue Sea" metaphorically represents the situation of young artists freely crossing the vast sky and sea without boundaries while exploring their artistic worlds, symbolizing the infinite potential within.

For participating artists, developmental disability artist Yang Heeseong and nature painter Jo Minjeong, art is everyday life, and everyday life is art. For them, art is a powerful tool that transforms mundane and dull daily life into a creative and exciting experience. The works exhibited in this show are the results of this transformation and introduce their special ways of viewing the world through art.

The exhibition is open free of charge from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed every Monday. For more details, inquiries can be made by phone or through the Cultural and Arts Center website.

Additionally, an educational program linked to the exhibition, "Blue Sky Milky Way," and guided tours (daily at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) will be offered. Visitors who wish to feel closer to contemporary art are encouraged to attend the professional guided tours.

Lee Jeong-o, director of the Gumi Cultural and Arts Center, said, "Through this exhibition, we hope to provide an opportunity for local young artists to grow further and for visitors to enjoy art naturally in their daily lives as a precious time."
