Gangseo-gu, Seoul, is recruiting 55 participants for the "2023 Gangseo-gu Reemployment Training Courses for Women with Career Experience."

This program is designed to support women whose careers were interrupted due to pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, and caregiving, aiming to expand their participation in economic activities through skill development.

The district operates three training courses: ▲ Skin Care Technician Certification Course ▲ Leather Craft Course ▲ Basic Accounting + Computerized Accounting Level 1 Certification Course.

The courses will be held twice a week for 3 hours each session over 14 weeks, from August 29 to November 30 at Seoul Hoseo Vocational School.

Applications are accepted until 6 PM on August 14. Interested individuals can apply by visiting the Gangseo-gu Office Family Policy Division (14, Hagok-ro 54-gil, 2nd floor, Old District Registry Building) or via email.

The district will conduct a first-round document screening and a second-round interview. The list of successful candidates will be posted on the district office website on August 24, and individual notifications will be sent to the selected applicants.

The "Skin Care Technician Certification Course" and the "Basic Accounting + Computerized Accounting Level 1 Certification Course" will each recruit 20 participants, while the "Leather Craft Course" will recruit 15 participants.

Any career-interrupted woman aged 18 or older residing in Gangseo-gu is eligible to apply.

Application forms and consent forms for personal information collection can be found in the "Notices and Announcements" section of the Gangseo-gu Office website.

Priority will be given during interviews to vulnerable groups such as basic livelihood security recipients, women raising children, and those with relevant experience related to the training courses.

A district official stated, "We hope that women with interrupted careers will develop practical skills and actively continue their economic activities where they are wanted. We will actively support providing services needed by socially vulnerable groups." For inquiries, please contact the Gangseo-gu Family Policy Division.
