Chairman Chu Yoon-gu of Gwangjin District Council Joins the ‘Single-Use Products Zero (ZERO) Challenge’
Reducing Single-Use Products in Daily Life, Increasing Use of Reusables!
On the 26th, Chairman Chu Yoon-gu of Gwangjin District Council participated in the ‘Single-Use Products Zero (ZERO) Challenge,’ a campaign to reduce single-use products in daily life.
The ‘Single-Use Products Zero (ZERO) Challenge’ is a nationwide campaign that began in February with the Minister of Environment as the first participant, aimed at recognizing the seriousness of climate change and practicing carbon neutrality by reducing the use of single-use products and promoting the habitual use of reusable products in daily life.
Chairman Chu Yoon-gu of Gwangjin District Council, who was nominated by Chairman Kim Hyun-joo of Seongdong District Council, said, “The whole world is suffering from climate change. For the sake of our one and only Earth, Gwangjin District Council will take the lead in actively using reusables such as tumblers and shopping bags until the day we achieve zero single-use products.”
Chairman Chu Yoon-gu of Gwangjin District Council nominated Chairman Lee Tae-in of Dongdaemun District Council as the next participant.
