40 Gyeongbuk Provincial Assembly Staff Members Conduct Flood Recovery Work in Sanbuk-myeon, Mungyeong City

On the 27th, the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council, with the participation of about 40 Secretariat staff members, worked hard on recovery efforts at commercial establishments in Sanbuk-myeon, Mungyeong City, which suffered significant damage due to heavy rain.

Employees of the Secretariat of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council are carrying out flood recovery work in Sanbuk-myeon, Mungyeong-si.

The Secretariat staff who participated in the recovery work on that day helped with the removal of soil from the flooded shops and the cleanup of the surrounding environment, dedicating themselves to support activities with the hope of a swift recovery and return to normalcy in the affected area.

Chairman Bae Hancheol of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council stated, “As the heavy rain has deepened the worries of the residents, the Provincial Council will actively support prompt recovery efforts,” adding, “We will also strive to improve institutional shortcomings in preparation for future disasters and develop policy alternatives.”
