Fitting is not an option but a necessity. When purchasing expensive golf clubs, you must find the optimal combination that suits you. This is the world of fitting that each equipment company boasts about. The seventh is the Titleist New T-Series Iron (NEW T-SERIES IRON).
The New T-Series Iron is a new product to be released simultaneously worldwide on the 25th of next month. There are a total of four models: T-100, T-150, T-200, and T-350 irons. Titleist proudly states, "It is designed to provide the best performance no matter which model golfers of all levels choose." It offers a feel and performance never seen before. Titleist is holding a special fitting day and pre-order purchase event until the 17th of next month. The first 1,000 customers will receive a T-Series T-shirt and cap as gifts.
Titleist's professional fitters focus on finding the right irons for customers. Reservations can be made through the official website or by phone. Customers visit fitting centers and studios nationwide for thorough interviews. They set the golfer's concerns and fitting goals. The process begins by checking the distance gaps between clubs and whether the golfer can land the ball at the desired points corresponding to those distances.
They select a head design that provides visual and psychological stability at address. Considering the golfer’s swing style and contact ability, they choose the appropriate head. Taking into account the golfer’s club speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin, and swing method, they select the suitable shaft weight, flex, and model. The irons are configured with a combination that creates proper ball speed gapping between clubs, optimal trajectory, and ball flight. To enhance the fitting’s completeness, grip size and type are decided in the final stage.
Titleist focuses on three key points when fitting irons. They maintain ball speed gaps of 5 mph between clubs to provide personalized distances. They offer consistent shots through various models and configurations. They achieve the highest point of ball flight and lead precise shots with landings over 45 degrees. Titleist offers custom clubs. As of last year, 61.8% of customers purchased custom irons after fitting, which is more than half.
Titleist operates a total of nine professional fitting centers and studios in locations including Nonhyeon in Seoul, Lotte Jamsil, COEX, Hannam, Oak Valley, Suwon CC, Lotte Busan, and Gwangju. These are widely distributed nationwide to meet the demand of passionate golfers seeking club fitting. Additionally, fitting days are available at club fitting dealerships and major practice ranges nationwide. Detailed information about fitting is available on the website.
