Testimony of Former Intelligence Agent and Fighter Pilot
"Recovered Biological Materials Not of Human Origin"
"Encounters with Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) are common for military crew members and commercial airline pilots."
"I am absolutely certain that the U.S. government possesses UAP debris. Biological materials that do not appear to be human have also been recovered."
On the 26th (local time) at the Rayburn House Office Building in the U.S. Capitol, Washington DC, a federal House subcommittee held a hearing titled 'UAP: National Security, Public Safety, and Government Transparency.' Three individuals, including former U.S. intelligence officials and military personnel, testified extensively about UAP, commonly referred to as 'Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).' The hearing covered not only UFO sightings but also claims that the U.S. government has secured UFO debris and evidence of extraterrestrial life, prompting local media to report the hearing news eagerly.
David Grusch, a former U.S. intelligence officer and member of the U.S. Air Force UAP panel who appeared at the hearing, stated he is "absolutely" certain that the federal government possesses UFOs. Having interviewed 40 witnesses who encountered UFOs over the past 40 years, he claimed to have heard that U.S. authorities recovered crashed UFOs and have been conducting 'reverse engineering' for decades. He also mentioned that the U.S. government discovered biological materials from UFO debris that are not of human origin. Grusch explained that although he tried to obtain additional information, his access was subsequently blocked. He asserted that the U.S. government is withholding information about UFO recoveries from Congress and the public. The U.S. Department of Defense spokesperson denied these claims as inaccurate.
There were also testimonies from those who directly witnessed UFOs. Two former Navy fighter pilots claimed to have seen UAPs during flight. Ryan Graves, who served in the Navy for over 10 years, testified that "such sightings are neither rare nor isolated incidents," and that "these phenomena are commonly observed by military crew members and commercial airline pilots whose lives depend on accurate identification." He described encountering two fighter jets near Virginia Beach training alongside a transparent sphere measuring 5 to 15 feet (1.5 to 4.5 meters) in diameter containing a dark gray or black cube. The mission was completed, and a safety report was submitted afterward, but there was no official acknowledgment of the incident.

David Fravor, a former military commander, also reported encountering a UFO off the coast of San Diego in 2004. According to Fravor, he was ordered by superiors to investigate a specific object, which he observed for over two weeks. The object, presumed to be a UFO, rapidly descended from an altitude of over 80,000 feet (24 km) to 20,000 feet (6 km), maintained that altitude for several hours, and then suddenly ascended again. Air traffic controllers reported that the UFO was 60 miles (97 km) away and could cover that distance in less than a minute. Fravor approached the UFO for a closer look, but it "accelerated rapidly and disappeared," he explained.
All witnesses at the hearing suggested that UFOs might be probing vulnerabilities in U.S. military systems. Fravor emphasized that if a foreign adversary were to acquire and replicate UFO technology, it could pose a potential national security threat. He stated, "The technology we are facing is far superior to anything we possess," adding, "There is nothing we can do."
However, some experts argue that UFO sightings could be attributed to balloons, drones, optical illusions, or flickering from commercial aircraft. As testimonies about the existence of UFOs poured out during the hearing, lawmakers appeared visibly unsettled, according to foreign media. NBC News reported, "Some lawmakers, completely bewildered by certain testimonies, repeatedly emphasized that UAP sightings are a matter of urgent concern and pose a threat to national security."
The U.S. House of Representatives plans to urge the federal government to disclose UFO-related information more transparently through UFO hearings and a task force (TF). Republican Representative Glenn Grothman of Wisconsin stated, "The lack of transparency regarding UAP has fueled speculation and controversy for decades," adding, "The public is losing trust in institutions that are supposed to serve and protect them."
