Limited Sale of 1,100 Sets for Customers Who Complete Pre-Reservation at Lotte Hi-Mart Stores and Online by the 7th of Next Month
Lotte Hi-Mart announced on the 27th that it will exclusively sell the 'Galaxy Z Flip5 Cinnamoroll Edition,' a collaboration between Samsung Electronics and Sanrio Korea.
This edition features the Galaxy Z Flip5 in Cream color and seven unique accessories for personalized phone decoration ('Ponkku') with the Cinnamoroll character. Cinnamoroll is Sanrio's representative character, famous for various characters such as Hello Kitty and My Melody, and was selected as the collaboration character due to its popularity among the young target audience of the Galaxy Z Flip5. It will be sold in limited quantities to customers who complete pre-orders at over 370 Lotte Hi-Mart stores nationwide and online until August 7.
The Cinnamoroll Edition includes a Near Field Communication (NFC) card, mobile case, keyring, mobile pouch, wireless charger, bead strap, and stickers. It is characterized by allowing 'Ponkku' not only on the outside but also inside the mobile device. When the NFC card is attached to the back of the mobile, the external display changes to the Cinnamoroll character, and touching the keyring to the back for about 3 to 5 seconds changes the home main screen, lock screen, icons, and message background to the Cinnamoroll theme. The total quantity is 1,100 sets, priced around 1,580,000 KRW for the 256GB unlocked version.
From August 1 to 7, customers who complete pre-orders and activate their devices between August 8 and 11 will receive a 'Double Storage' benefit, upgrading the 256GB storage capacity to 512GB. Additionally, through discount promotions, the product will be sold up to 11% cheaper.
Kim Bo-kyung, Head of the Smart Home Appliances Division at Lotte Hi-Mart, said, "We will continue to introduce products sold exclusively at Lotte Hi-Mart, such as the Cinnamoroll Edition," adding, "We plan to create stores where customers can be the first to experience new and differentiated products."
