Implementation of a Project Offering Up to 80 Hours per Month at 1,000 Won per Hour
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do, which had implemented the '10,000 won rental housing' project for young adults and newlyweds, is introducing a 24-hour '1,000 won care' system.
On the 25th, Hwasun-gun announced that it will implement a 24-hour childcare care system that provides care for preschool children at a childcare fee of 1,000 won per hour.
This project was promoted with the purpose of creating a customized environment conducive to raising children in response to population decline.
On the 21st, Hwasun-gun held an operating institution selection review committee and selected two daycare centers, Hanyang Lips Daycare Center and Hyundai Hillstate Daycare Center, through eligibility and interview screenings. These two daycare centers provide childcare services from 7:30 a.m. on weekdays to 7:30 a.m. the following day, excluding Sundays and public holidays. The target group is preschool children aged 6 months to 7 years living in Hwasun. The childcare fee is 1,000 won per hour for up to 80 hours per month.
An official from Hwasun-gun said, "Through the childcare care system, we will create an educational city and eliminate blind spots in care."
