Yoon Kyung-hee, County Governor, Visits Recovery Work Site to Offer Encouragement
Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has stepped up to provide manpower support for the rapid flood recovery of Mungyeong City, which was declared a special disaster area due to consecutive heavy rains.

Accordingly, on the 26th, about 70 people including public officials, members of the Cheongsong-gun Council of the Barun Life Movement, and the Cheongsong-gun Saemaul Association visited Geosan-ri, Sanbuk-myeon, Mungyeong City to volunteer so that flood victims could return to their daily lives as soon as possible.
The volunteers worked together for emergency recovery by cleaning houses and village public facilities where heavy equipment deployment was difficult, removing soil and mud, and tidying up trash along the riverbanks.
In addition, Cheongsong-gun delivered relief supplies to residents affected by the heavy rain in Geosan-ri, Sanbuk-myeon, and the Saemaul Leaders Association of Bunam-myeon, Cheongsong-gun, who also attended, contributed donations, adding their warm hearts.
Yoon Kyung-hee, the county governor, said, “I extend my condolences to the citizens of Mungyeong City who must be greatly distressed by the heavy rain damage, and I hope this support will be of some help in restoring daily life as soon as possible.”
