Kim Eun-kyung, the Innovation Committee Chair leading the innovation of the Democratic Party of Korea, is reported to have canceled the meeting scheduled for the 26th with the party's youth group 'Next Democratic Party.' Park Ji-hyun, former Emergency Committee Member of the Democratic Party and a key figure in Next Democratic Party, demanded an apology, calling it "an attitude that does not regard young people as equal colleagues."

Earlier, it was reported in the media that Chair Kim was to meet with the Democratic Party youth group 'Next Democratic Party,' led by former Emergency Committee Member Park Ji-hyun. The meeting was to discuss the 'Innovation Plan for Preventing Power-Based Sexual Crimes' proposed by Next Democratic Party. However, Park stated that Chair Kim's side unilaterally canceled the meeting.

She said, "On the 23rd, I received a message from Chair Kim telling us to just leave the 'Innovation Plan' at the party office. The reason given was that we disclosed the meeting to the media." She added, "But as can be confirmed from the article, it says a 'Democratic Party official' spoke with the reporter." It was a Democratic Party official, not Next Democratic Party, who disclosed the meeting to the media.

Park said, "It was Chair Kim herself who publicly proposed the meeting first. Unilaterally notifying the cancellation of the meeting is an attitude that does not regard young people as equal colleagues," adding, "This is clearly contradictory to her remarks about the importance of future generations when announcing the innovation plan, and it is no different from the existing 586 generation's approach of exploiting young people. I hope she proves otherwise with an apology."

She continued, "Above all, it is hard to understand that someone who took the position of Innovation Committee Chair to reform the party would unilaterally cancel a meeting to discuss an innovation plan," and said, "The media talks as if innovation regarding sexual crimes will be made, but behind the scenes, telling us to just leave the proposal at the party office?was the invitation to meet a slip of the tongue?"
