Jeonnam Representative Park Byeonghak Achieves 'Overall 1st Place' at National Disabled Weightlifting Competition

Aiming for Overall 1st Place at the 43rd National Disabled Sports Festival This November

At the national competition, Park Byeong-hak (38) from Jindo once again achieved excellent results and performed well.

Park Byeong-hak participated as a representative of Jeollanam-do in the 22nd National Disabled Weightlifting Championships held from the 18th to the 22nd at the Hongcheon-gun Sports Complex in Gangwon-do.

As a result of the competition, he attracted attention by winning 1st place in powerlifting with 140kg, 2nd place in weightlifting with 141kg, and 1st place overall with 281kg.

Park Byeong-hak also won three gold medals at the previous Jeonnam Disabled Sports Competition and aims to achieve first place at the upcoming 43rd National Disabled Sports Competition scheduled to be held from November 3.

Park Byeong-hak said, “Thanks to the support of the Jeollanam-do Disabled Sports Association, Jindo-gun Disabled Sports Association, coaches, colleagues, and family, I was able to achieve excellent results in this competition,” and added, “I will continue to dedicate myself to training to achieve outstanding results in the future.”
