Changnyeong-gun Successfully Concludes the 12th Creative Children's Song Festival with Santokki and Ttaogi

The Haneul Sori Chorus Awarded the Grand Prize for Singing 'Come Visit! The Mysterious Swamp'

Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam announced that on the 22nd, it successfully held the "12th Creative Children's Song Festival with Santokki and Ttaogi" at the Changnyeong Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater, attended by children selected from across the country.


The 12 teams who advanced to the finals after the preliminary round passionately performed the songs they had prepared. Following the competition, congratulatory performances were held by the previous year's grand prize-winning team, Osaekbitkkal Chorus, My Soloist Ensemble, and SUS4 Ensemble.

As a result of the competition, the grand prize was awarded to the Haneul Sori Chorus for their song "Come Play! The Mysterious Swamp." Additionally, the Malgeun Sori Chorus, who sang "Ttaogi Grandmothers on the Move!," won the gold prize; the Haetsal Namu Chorus, who sang "Please Protect It," received the silver prize; and the Rainbow Arts Group, who performed "Red Riding Hood Ttaogi Postman," earned the bronze prize.


Moreover, special awards were given: "Come Play! The Mysterious Swamp" received the Lyrics Award, and the children from Norae Maeul who sang "The Bridge That Spring Crosses" won the Popularity Award.


A county official said, "We hope the children's songs in the festival serve as a small echo reminding everyone of pure hearts and the importance of nature," adding, "We wish this children's song festival becomes a beautiful memory that everyone will never forget."


At the 7th Children's Song Singing Contest held the day before the Creative Children's Song Festival, 8 elementary school teams and 4 kindergarten teams participated. Yeongsan Elementary School, who sang "Smiling Me, Smiling Day," won the elementary school gold prize, and Changnyeong Girls' Middle and High School Attached Kindergarten, who sang "Children Dreaming Dreams," took the kindergarten gold prize.


The recorded broadcast of the "12th Creative Children's Song Festival with Santokki and Ttaogi" is scheduled to air on the KNN channel on August 6th at 12:20 PM.
