"Two Days in a Row, Poop Left" 'Feces Terror' in Front of Store Angers Small Business Owner

Punishable Under the Minor Offenses Act

A 'feces terror' incident occurred where someone defecated and fled two days in a row in a commercial building, angering self-employed business owners.

On the 22nd, a post titled "Someone pooped in the commercial building" was uploaded to the self-employed community 'Apeunikka Sajangida' (Because It Hurts, I'm a Boss).

Self-employed business owner A said, "Today, just like yesterday, someone defecated," adding, "I will report it and give them a scolding."

The CCTV capture he shared showed a man squatting at the building entrance defecating. The man faced the road at the first-floor entrance, where stairs lead to the second floor and basement, while doing his business.

According to A, the man committed the 'feces terror' in front of the store around 5 a.m. on the 22nd and fled without cleaning up. A said, "The building has entrances on both sides, and this happened alternately each day," adding, "We were targeted twice in two days. We will review the CCTV to find the culprit from yesterday."

Cafe members who read the story commented, "Punish them without mercy," "Not even a dog," "Why are there so many people pooping these days?" "You don't have any grudges, right?" and "Buy a lottery ticket."

This is not the first time a self-employed business owner has complained about being targeted by 'feces terror' in front of their store.

On the 17th of last month, another self-employed business owner expressed frustration after a man defecated in front of their store in broad daylight.

At that time, the business owner shared, "He pooped at the kitchen entrance, then came back and pushed his feces into a corner," adding, "It's a busy alley with many people passing by, but the weekend morning started very dirty."

They continued, "I reported it to the police, but how can they be punished?" and attached a photo of the man lowering his pants and looking around while defecating in front of the store door.

Defecating in front of someone else's store or similar places can be punished under the Minor Offenses Act.

According to Article 3 of the Minor Offenses Act, anyone who spits recklessly, defecates or urinates, causes others to do so, or brings animals such as dogs to defecate in places like streets, parks, or other places where many people gather or pass by, and fails to clean up, may be fined up to 100,000 won or detained.
