The Visiting Mind Shelter used a mental health reassurance bus to conduct depression and stress tests for the elderly, selecting five villages with three or more high-risk depression groups to carry out activities.

In cooperation with related organizations (Volunteer Center, Disabled Welfare Center, Gochang-gun Family Center), a variety of programs such as ▲massage volunteer activities ▲acupressure therapy ▲nail art ▲foot massage ▲horticultural therapy ▲singing classes ▲yoga were provided, bringing joy and vitality to the elderly and receiving great response.

A health center official said, “We will strive to improve access to mental health services and promote mental health to enhance the quality of life for the elderly and contribute to depression prevention.”

Meanwhile, the Gochang-gun Mental Health Welfare Center plans to actively reach out to more high-risk mental health groups in the region, providing continuous mental health services for early detection, treatment intervention, and maintenance.
