Inspection of Package Products with Employees from the 19th to 21st
Hana Tour announced on the 24th that CEO Song Miseon visited Baekdusan from the 19th to the 21st to prepare for the full-scale normalization of travel to China.
The inspection team, consisting of CEO Song and Chinese operational staff including Bang Giyoung, head of Hana Tour's Beijing branch, reviewed the Baekdusan package products that customers actually use during this period.
CEO Song focused on this area as there have been comprehensive changes in travel products such as hotels, itineraries, and local meals by applying "Hana Pack 2.0" after the endemic (periodic outbreak of infectious diseases).
Additionally, the itinerary included trekking to Cheonji (Heaven Lake) along the northern course of Baekdusan, experiencing representative natural tourist sites such as Jangbaek Waterfall, hot spring areas, Socheonji, and Nokyeondam, as well as local meals and hotel accommodations that customers enjoy during their travels.
Before COVID-19, the proportion of Hana Tour package customers traveling to Japan and China was so close that China ranked first or second, with a noticeably high share of customers using China packages. Having accumulated years of expertise and know-how in planning China products, Hana Tour launched Baekdusan and Zhangjiajie package products in May as a vanguard within the industry in line with the resumption of group travel to China.
CEO Song stated, "We are striving to provide differentiated products and advanced services such as Hana Pack 2.0 to meet the changed customer needs and travel trends compared to before COVID-19." She added, "Especially since China is showing a clear recovery trend and is expected to play a key role in driving third-quarter performance, we plan to accelerate the normalization of China package travel."
