Automation Technology for Space Management 'Allicon SpaceOS'
Collaboration with Rakuten Mobile
Allicon, the operator of the residence-based distributed office 'Jibmusil,' announced on the 24th that it has been finally selected as a 'Global Open Innovation' company by Shinhan Futures Lab Japan. Shinhan Futures Lab is a startup accelerating program operated by Shinhan Financial Group.
Allicon was finally selected by applying to the 'B2B Business Expansion Model Challenge' presented by Rakuten Mobile, a Japanese mobile carrier and partner of Shinhan Futures Lab Japan. Allicon proposed a new business model based on its space operation automation technology, 'Allicon SpaceOS,' to Rakuten Mobile.
Allicon SpaceOS is based on AI and IoT-based space operation automation technology developed in-house to operate the distributed office 'Jibmusil.' It can remotely and automatically manage lighting, heating and cooling, item monitoring, and access monitoring within commercial spaces. Allicon plans to conduct a proof of concept (PoC) from the second half of the year to launch IoT services applying Allicon SpaceOS space operation automation technology for Rakuten Mobile's corporate customers operating various spaces such as offices, short-term rentals, and logistics.
Jo Minhee, co-CEO of Allicon, said, "This is the first case where Allicon's space IoT technology has been recognized overseas," adding, "We will strive to create a successful overseas expansion model by combining Rakuten Mobile's global network with Allicon's space digital transformation capabilities."
