KT&G Launches 'Lil Hybrid 3.0'... "Equipped with 3 Modes"

Choose Among 'Classic, Standard, Casual' Modes
Added 'Pause' Function to Enhance Convenience

KT&G announced on the 24th that it will launch a new lineup of its heated tobacco product, the ‘lil HYBRID 3.0’.

The lil HYBRID 3.0 offers three smoking modes. In addition to the ‘Standard Mode,’ which delivers the same performance as the existing lil HYBRID 2.0, users can choose the Classic Mode for a stronger impact and the Casual Mode, which shortens the preheating time to 10 seconds. A new ‘Pause’ function has also been added, allowing users to temporarily stop the device during use. While smoking one stick, the pause can be activated unlimited times within a total of 2 minutes.

This new product maintains the design concept of the lil HYBRID while pursuing new changes. The exterior emphasizes straight lines to add a three-dimensional feel, and the front features a display bezel that runs through the entire surface to enhance unity. Additionally, a color LCD display has been applied to allow clearer and more intuitive confirmation of essential device information such as battery and cartridge levels.

The lil HYBRID 3.0 will be initially sold starting today at five ‘lil Minimalium’ brand-exclusive stores and the dedicated online mall ‘lil Store.’ However, the lil Minimalium Busan branch will begin sales from the 25th. Subsequently, on the 23rd of next month, sales channels will expand to convenience stores in Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Gwangju, Daegu, Daejeon, Ulsan, Sejong City, and some areas of Gyeonggi Province.

The product will be available in four colors: ‘Giallo Yellow,’ ‘Carmine Red,’ ‘Bianca White,’ and ‘Noir Black.’ The ‘Bianca White’ and ‘Noir Black’ colors will be sold exclusively at ‘lil Minimalium’ stores and the ‘lil Store.’ The recommended retail price is 88,000 KRW.

Features such as ‘Smart On,’ which automatically preheats upon stick insertion, and fast charging remain unchanged from the lil HYBRID 2.0. Convenient stick removal and the elimination of unnecessary device cleaning are also advantages retained from the previous model.
