InterContinental Seoul COEX, operated by Parnas Hotel, announced on the 24th that it has opened an outdoor kids' pool for families seeking a "Kikangseu" (Kids + Hotel Vacation) destination during the summer vacation.
The kids' pool, located on the outdoor terrace of the 'Cosmopolitan Fitness Club' on the 3rd floor of InterContinental COEX, is open until August 20th for children under 110cm in height accompanied by an adult guardian. Hotel guests can use the pool once per night of stay. The outdoor kids' pool is available from 9 AM to 5 PM, with safety personnel on duty during operating hours.
The outdoor kids' pool is designed to accommodate up to 30 people. It is equipped with play facilities such as a water slide and mist tunnel, as well as conveniences and safety features including parasol tables, sunbeds, outdoor showers, and life jackets. Guests can also enjoy a temple view overlooking Bongeunsa Temple and a variety of poolside menus such as tomato and mango bingsu, beef burgers, and club sandwiches.
A representative from Parnas Hotel stated, "Even before the opening, we received numerous inquiries from customers confirming this year’s operation plans, showing that the outdoor kids' pool is already popular. As the rainy season ends and the peak summer vacation season begins, demand for 'family-friendly' hotel vacations is increasing, so we expect many customers to visit again this year."
