ResearchAlum predicted on the 24th that Genieons will grow as large corporations strengthen security and actively adopt Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
Genieons is a cybersecurity specialist established in 2005. It supplies NAC, which protects internal corporate networks, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions that detect and respond to abnormal device behavior, and next-generation security models such as Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). It was the first in Korea to develop NAC and EDR. According to last year's Public Procurement Service data, its market share was 77% and 84%, respectively.
Researcher Kim Doyoon from ResearchAlum explained, "NAC allows you to verify who, when, and where someone accesses the network," adding, "Large corporations are expanding NAC adoption not only domestically but also to overseas business sites."
He continued, "They are building product sales performance based on domestic large corporations," and "It is expected that the customer base will expand to local overseas companies."
Researcher Kim analyzed, "By applying advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning technologies developed in-house, it is possible to detect previously unknown malware," and "Demand for EDR will steadily increase." He emphasized, "Last October, among domestic EDR products, it was the first to pass the National Intelligence Service's security compliance verification system," and "The customer base is diversifying to include local governments, public institutions, corporations, hospitals, and the financial sector."
