The Bank of Korea announced on the 23rd that it held the 12th Korea-China-Japan Central Bank Governors' Meeting in Yokohama, Japan.
This meeting was held for the first time in four years since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The central banks of the three countries have hosted the meeting on a rotating basis every year since 2009.
According to the Bank of Korea, at the meeting, Governor Lee Chang-yong exchanged views on recent economic and financial trends of the three countries with Pan Gongsheng, representative of the People's Bank of China, and Kazuo Ueda, Governor of the Bank of Japan.
Next year's meeting is scheduled to be hosted by the People's Bank of China.
