Hanwha Ocean signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (MOIT) in Hanoi, Vietnam on the 22nd for a 'Comprehensive Cooperation Project for Workforce Training and Recruitment in Vietnam.'
This MOU aims to support programs that strengthen the capabilities of vocational training institutions under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, thereby meeting the future workforce recruitment needs of Hanwha Ocean.
Through this, Hanwha Ocean expects to establish a stable recruitment plan for skilled foreign technical personnel.
Furthermore, if the overseas technical workforce training program, which is being led by the industry, is successfully established, it is evaluated that it will present an effective solution to the manpower shortage in the Korean shipbuilding industry in the future and serve as a bridge to promote comprehensive cooperation between Korea and Vietnam.
