'Artificial Intelligence New Technology Immersion Zone' Briefing - Full-Scale Free Citizen Experience Service
Free Digital Device Experience Service Available at Busan Library and Sijeon Station
Busan City has installed the country's first "AI New Technology Immersion Zone Using Brainwaves" at 'Busan City Hall Deullak Deullak' and is offering citizens free digital experience opportunities.
This service is part of the digital learning center's "Citywide Digital Competency Enhancement Education Project," providing Busan citizens with opportunities to experience AI new technologies in collaboration with the KTCS consortium (KTCS, Dongseo University, Smart Social).
On the 20th at 10 a.m., the city unveiled the AI New Technology Immersion Experience Zone and a virtual model unmanned information kiosk (Digital Twin Kiosk) on the first floor of City Hall's Deullak Deullak, holding device briefings and demonstration sessions for Busan citizens.
The "AI New Technology Immersion Zone" features ▲"the nation's first brainwave-based escape room" ▲"digital human experience equipped with ChatGPT technology" ▲"virtual idol and AI-created drama," directly demonstrated by the development research team of Dongseo University (AI+X Convergence Research Center).
The "Virtual Model (Digital Twin) Deullak Deullak Service" produced by Smart Social allows users to experience the Deullak Deullak space online via the Busan City Deullak Deullak website and watch various educational program videos currently operated at Deullak Deullak. It can also be experienced offline through on-site kiosks.
"Busan City Hall Deullak Deullak" is a new-concept children's future playground featuring play, reading, and digital experience functions, operating various programs such as ▲digital learning centers (coding education, etc.) ▲culture and arts ▲virtual reality (VR) experiences ▲education (English, psychological counseling, etc.).
Additionally, the city has established digital experience zones in 16 districts and counties, including Busan Library, providing free experience services to citizens.
A total of 18 digital experience zones by district and county (▲2 total experience zones ▲4 themed experience zones ▲12 basic experience zones) offer digital device experiences.
The city also operates the "Edu Bus," a mobile experience zone that visits anywhere regardless of location, and conducts digital education using smartphones, kiosks, and more at 110 digital learning centers near residents' homes.
