A memorial altar for the female teacher of Seo-i Elementary School in Seocho-gu, Seoul was set up on the 21st in the parking lot next to the main entrance of the Gyeongnam Office of Education.
The altar was established at 3 PM on the same day and will operate from 9 AM to 7 PM without a set end date.
Mourners are welcomed by the Gyeongnam Office of Education, the Gyeongnam Teachers' Labor Union, and the Gyeongnam branch of the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union.

Superintendent Park Jong-hoon plans to visit the altar to pay respects around 8:30 AM before starting work on the 24th.
The deceased, who was appointed in March last year, worked as a first-grade homeroom teacher at Seo-i Elementary School and was found dead on the morning of the 18th on school grounds.
The police, based on the absence of signs of homicide, are investigating the exact cause of death by questioning colleagues and others around the deceased, considering it a case of extreme self-harm.
