DL E&C announced on the 21st that it will expand its system for recording and managing construction processes on-site through videos to all domestic sites to ensure quality control and prevent safety accidents. This move is in line with Seoul City's declaration of war against substandard construction and its active participation in expanding the video recording management system currently implemented at public construction sites with budgets exceeding 10 billion KRW.
In 2022, DL E&C introduced 'D.Vision,' a site management solution utilizing AI-based computer vision technology and 360-degree cameras, for the first time in Korea at some domestic apartment complex projects. By further enhancing D.Vision, the company plans to thoroughly secure the conditions and work details before and after construction by recording the site processes on video. Additionally, at apartment construction sites, a smart system is used where AI reviews photos taken by drones to manage construction quality.
DL E&C is promoting quality management company-wide and is conducting 'Zero Defect' activities at headquarters and all sites. By expanding the video recording management system to the field, it is expected to establish a higher level of safety and quality management system.
A DL E&C representative stated, "Based on the best quality management philosophy and industry-leading digital technology, we will make company-wide efforts to satisfy our customers."
