Ulju-gun Taehwagang Ecological Center will operate a special summer vacation program, "Taehwagang Ecology Classroom," from August 8 to 25 on the 2nd floor experience classroom of the ecological center.
This Taehwagang Ecology Classroom is designed for elementary school students and will be conducted in two sessions, each consisting of 8 lectures, recruiting a total of 240 participants with 15 students per session.
The first session will focus on fish living in Taehwagang, and the second session will focus on insects living in Taehwagang. Each lecture will include ecological center and field tours, theoretical lectures, and hands-on activities.
The main contents include ▲ scientific experiment exploration activities ▲ microscope observation ▲ making prints using fish scale patterns ▲ making light-emitting insects, and more.
Applications for the program will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 25th on the Taehwagang Ecological Center website. For more details, please refer to the website or contact the Taehwagang Ecological Center.
A representative of the Taehwagang Ecological Center said, "We expect this education to provide children with an opportunity to recognize the importance of Taehwagang and to easily and enjoyably understand the ecology of Taehwagang."
