Consumer Policy Enhancement and Consumer Complaint Improvement Activities Conducted
Home&Shopping (CEOs Il-yong Lee and Won-seop Lee) announced on the 20th that it has launched the 2nd Consumer Protection Committee to safeguard consumer rights. On the 19th, Home&Shopping held the first meeting of the 2nd Consumer Protection Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) along with the appointment of its members at its headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The Committee is composed of one consumer policy expert, five consumer representatives, and three internal members.

Professor Kyung-ja Kim, a consumer policy expert from the Department of Spatial Design and Consumer Studies at Catholic University, was appointed as the chairperson to strengthen expertise, and five carefully selected consumer representatives from the customer advisory group were appointed. Going forward, the Committee will hold quarterly regular meetings to perform various roles such as ▲ sharing internal customer satisfaction meeting agendas and improvement results ▲ proposing ideas for consumer policy improvements ▲ reviewing issues raised by the customer monitoring evaluation team.
A Home&Shopping official stated, "We are making great efforts to practice consumer-centered management," adding, "We will prioritize the opinions of viewers and customers and continue sincere communication."
