ResearchAlum analyzed on the 18th that as the generative artificial intelligence (AI) market, including ChatGPT, rapidly expands, security threats such as malware and ransomware related to it are also increasing, and that Ksign is expected to benefit from this trend.

Choi Seonghwan, a researcher at ResearchAlum, explained, "Ksign's DB encryption technology to respond to cyber threats is continuously evolving," adding, "The evolution of generative AI is expanding the scope of data encryption."

He continued, "In addition to existing field-level encryption, technologies such as full DB encryption and data masking are being developed," and added, "The expansion of encryption scope is a factor directly linked to the growth of encryption companies including Ksign."

He analyzed, "Through DB encryption methods utilizing blockchain technology, secure encryption solutions are being presented," and noted, "Ksign was selected last year as the project operator for the 'Blockchain-based Public MyData Distribution Trust Infrastructure' proposed by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety."

Ksign is estimated to record sales of 48.6 billion KRW and operating profit of 11.5 billion KRW this year. This represents an increase of 12.5%, and 25.9% respectively compared to last year.
