On the 15th (local time), actor Chow Yun-fat attended the stage greeting for the movie 'Beolgyuado Sin' (Don't Call Me the God of Gambling). He appeared very healthy and actively interacted with fans by chatting and taking commemorative photos.

Earlier, on the 4th, Chow Yun-fat tested positive for COVID-19 and canceled all promotional activities for the movie.

At that time, he said, "I had promised to meet audiences at theaters throughout this week, but I felt unwell for two days," and added, "I tested positive for COVID-19, so I couldn't meet the audience as planned," and "I will recover well and meet you all again at the theater."

Later, on the 13th, local media such as Sina Entertainment reported that Chow Yun-fat had fallen into a coma due to a stroke and had not regained consciousness, spreading rumors about his health. However, with the release of photos from the stage greeting, it was revealed that these reports were false.

Fake news related to Chow Yun-fat has been reported several times before. In 2017, a Chinese media outlet caused a big stir by reporting that "Chow Yun-fat passed away in Hong Kong due to an incurable disease."

In response, Chow Yun-fat's wife, Jin Hui-ryeon, directly denied the rumors, saying, "Our husband is in very good condition and is currently resting at home."

Meanwhile, Chow Yun-fat gained great popularity in Korea as well by starring in movies such as 'A Better Tomorrow' (1987), 'The Killer' (1989), and 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' (2000). He also made headlines in 2018 by announcing his intention to donate his entire fortune of 810 billion won.
