Eunpyeong-gu Creates Multipurpose Sports Ground on Idle Land Near Changneungcheon
Constructed at the Scale of One Basketball Court... Located Between Geumam Cultural Park and Jichukgyo Intersection
Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) has established a multipurpose sports ground on park land next to Changneungcheon to promote the health and wholesome leisure activities of Eunpyeong residents.
The multipurpose sports ground was constructed on idle land located between Geumam Cultural Park and the Jichukgyo intersection, at the scale of one basketball court (approximately 432㎡).
It features multipurpose goals suitable for both basketball and futsal, plastic flooring that can be used immediately after rain, lighting facilities, and other amenities to provide a pleasant sports environment.
The multipurpose sports ground is free for all residents to use, and various programs such as family basketball classes and futsal classes will be offered here in the future.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “We have opened a multipurpose sports ground on idle land near Changneungcheon where all residents can enjoy sports activities without burden, and we hope many will use it. We will continue to make greater efforts to expand sports infrastructure to realize a healthy and happy community sports city.”
