"This is the second hole-in-one of my life."

NBA superstar Stephen Curry (USA, Golden State) recorded a hole-in-one. On the 15th (KST), Curry made a hole-in-one on the 7th hole (par 3) of the American Century Championship (total prize money $600,000) held at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course (par 72, 6,709 yards) in Stateline, Nevada, USA.

Curry's tee shot on this hole landed about 1 meter in front of the hole and immediately went in. After confirming the ball had disappeared, Curry took off his hat, held it in his hand, and ran to the green, enjoying his joy. Curry cheered, "I'm out of breath from running a longer distance than on the basketball court, but it was definitely worth it."

Curry is well known as a golf enthusiast. He is an amateur expert with a handicap of 0.1. In an interview with Golf Digest USA, he expressed his passion by saying, "I have considered transforming into a professional golfer after retirement." In 2017, he participated as a player in the PGA Tour's Korn Ferry Tour Elimac Classic but was cut off, though he showed skills by shooting 74 strokes each day for two days. In 2018, he even planned to host a PGA Tour event, demonstrating his exceptional love for golf.

The American Century Championship, where celebrities compete in golf skills, is played over 3 rounds and 54 holes. According to the modified Stableford scoring system, players receive 10 points for an albatross, 8 points for a hole-in-one, 6 points for an eagle, 3 points for a birdie, and 1 point for par, while scores worse than a double bogey deduct 2 points. Curry is leading by 3 points with 50 points. Former golf queen Annika Sorenstam (Sweden) is tied for 8th place (34 points), and last year's winner, NFL star Tony Romo (USA), is tied for 12th place (32 points).
