"Transplanting Fully Grown Plants Makes Flower Gifting Easier"

LG Electronics announced on the 16th that it will launch the 'Modular Seed Kit' for its plant lifestyle appliances LG Tiun and Tiun Mini on the 17th. The kit allows users to plant companion plant seeds directly and transplant fully grown plants into pots. It is expected to make it easier to gift flowers arranged in pots or baskets.
The new modular seed kit features a structure that attaches two seed kit modules, each with five holes. Unlike the previous integrated kit that contained seeds in 10 holes, each module can hold one type of seed, allowing two different plants to be grown simultaneously. Fully grown plant modules can be transplanted to other locations or pots.
Existing product users can also use the modular seed kit by purchasing the holder separately. Recycled plastic has been applied to both the modular seed kit and the holder. The holder is designed for reuse. When growing new plants, only the seed kit package needs to be repurchased. LG Electronics stated, "This is part of LG Electronics' ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management pursuing waste resource recycling and a circular economy."
The seed kit package for Tiun consists of six modules, three types of seeds, and nutrients. Prices range from 24,000 to 36,000 KRW depending on the plant type. The Tiun Mini package includes two modules, one type of seed, and nutrients, priced between 10,000 and 14,000 KRW.

A new flower, 'Gazania,' is introduced. It can be grown in Tiun and Tiun Mini. It is released in two colors: orange and scarlet. LG Tiun now offers 17 types of seed kits. Tiun Mini seed kits come in nine varieties.
In collaboration with IPX (formerly Line Friends), LG Electronics is also launching the Tiun Mini BT21 Special Edition. It includes seven BT21 figures and stickers. This product targets MZ generation customers. The shipment price is 210,000 KRW. It will be sold on Naver Shopping Live at 11 a.m. on the 19th. Among customers who purchase during the broadcast, the first 220 will receive an additional pot stand.
