On the 15th (local time), President Yoon Suk-yeol received a report on the damage caused by heavy rain in South Korea while in Ukraine and instructed measures to be taken.


On the same day, President Yoon held a video conference with the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters in Seoul, attended by Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, immediately before a joint press announcement after concluding a summit with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Through the video call, President Yoon checked the flood damage situation related to the heavy rain. He instructed Prime Minister Han to "mobilize all available government resources, including the military and police, to fully respond to the disaster."

Earlier, President Yoon attended the official welcoming ceremony from 11:10 a.m. to 11:20 a.m., held a 65-minute one-on-one meeting from 11:20 a.m. to 12:25 p.m., and then a 45-minute expanded meeting until 1:10 p.m.
