Hampyeong Dolmeori Beach, which embraces the beautiful sunset of the West Coast, is officially opening ahead of the peak summer season.
On the 14th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced that the opening ceremony of Dolmeori Beach was held that morning on the water stage at Dolmeori Beach.
About 200 people attended the opening ceremony, including Lee Sang-ik, the mayor of Hampyeong-gun, Yoon Aeng-rang, chairman of the Hampyeong County Council, key invitees, social organizations, tourists, and residents. Before the ceremony, a plaque unveiling ceremony for Dolmeori Beach was held.
Located in Seokseong-ri, Hampyeong-eup, Dolmeori Beach is the closest sea to Gwangju and is gaining attention as a representative summer resort in Hampyeong with its pristine mudflats, beautiful sunsets, and refreshing pine forests, all blessed with a natural environment.
In addition to various marine tourism facilities such as a seawater pool, children's water playground, mudflat exploration trail, auto camping site, seawater jjim healing center, and Jupo Hanok Village, there are also diverse experience programs that people of all ages can enjoy, including mudflat experiences and eel catching.
A county official said, “We will do our best to ensure safety management so that tourists visiting Hampyeong-gun during the summer season can take a break from their daily lives and relax. We hope families, friends, and couples create joyful memories at Dolmeori Beach.”
