"Off-Season" Golf Membership Market Shows "Stable Trend"

The golf membership market is showing a steady trend.

According to Dong-A Membership Exchange on the 15th, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide was 244.99 million KRW, up 0.13% compared to last week. By price range, the ultra-high price segment rose 0.08%, high price segment 0.30%, mid-price segment 0.13%, and low price segment 0.02%. Dong-A Membership Exchange stated, "In the golf membership market, only some popular items are out of stock. The number of watchful buyers has increased, leading to a decrease in trading volume," and predicted, "The summer off-season membership market will continue to show a steady trend amid cautious trading."

The average price in the central region is 276.83 million KRW, showing a 0.16% upward trend. Although 88 memberships appeared on the market, a tense standoff between sellers and buyers pushed the price up 1.74%. New Seoul also rose 0.88% due to accumulated buy orders. Suwon increased 0.91% as steady buying from individuals and corporations flowed in. Gold rose 1.27%, Seoul 0.58%, Jayu 1.52%, Geumgang 1.05%, and Yeoju 3.57%. Team leader Park Cheon-ju said, "The central region membership market continues to show differentiated trends by item," and forecasted, "Trading volume will decrease and the market will show a steady trend."

The average price in the southern region was 162.57 million KRW, down 0.01% from last week. Tongdo fell 0.62% as buying interest turned cautious. Yongwon also saw supply appear in response to selling offers, but buyer response was minimal. Although inquiries for corporate anonymous memberships are increasing, supply is insufficient. It is not easy to find supply for Bora and Jeongsan. Team leader Lee Yun-hee analyzed, "The southern region membership market showed little price fluctuation," and added, "It will show a steady market."
