Gangjin County Council Opens the 292nd Extraordinary Session

Deliberation and Resolution of Major Agendas Including the 2nd Supplementary Budget Review for 2023

Gangjin County Council (Chairperson Kim Bomi) announced on the 12th that it has opened the 292nd extraordinary session and started legislative activities for a three-day schedule until the 14th.


This session plans to handle the 2nd supplementary budget for 2023 as well as various ordinance bills.

The main schedule begins with the 1st plenary session on the 12th, followed by the review of ordinance bills and the 2nd supplementary budget for 2023 by standing committees from the 12th to the 13th, and concludes with the 2nd plenary session on the 14th, closing the 292nd extraordinary session.


Additionally, during this extraordinary session, a total of eight agenda items were submitted, including △ the 2nd supplementary budget for 2023 △ three member-initiated bills such as the Gangjin County Ordinance on Prevention of Abuse of Narcotics and Harmful Drugs △ and four bills submitted by the Gangjin County Governor, including the partial amendment of the ordinance on the establishment and operation of the Gangjin County Regulatory Reform Committee.


Chairperson Kim Bomi said in the opening remarks, “Although the session is short, I ask everyone to do their best in reviewing the 2nd supplementary budget and various agenda items, and I request the active cooperation of fellow council members and public officials to ensure that projects closely related to the lives of county residents proceed without any setbacks.”
