The ‘2023 Technology-Infused Cultural Arts Education Program’ is a project hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association, designed to strengthen the capabilities of creative and convergent future talents through educational programs.

Additionally, this project aims to nurture talents by developing future technologies while exploring future cultural arts careers and contemplating career paths through the creative convergence of art and technology.

The Dance in the Sky program is jointly operated by the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation and the local drone education company ‘Mirae Hanggong’ (Future Aviation).

Specifically, the program will offer various cultural arts education including drone operation techniques using advanced technology, coding education through basic coding programs such as Scratch and Entry, creative drone decoration, and dance education that expresses one’s thoughts through body movements.

After the technology and arts education, the program plans to create a dance drama by integrating technology and arts and applying drone coding tailored to the participant’s movements.

A representative from the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation stated, “This program was planned to help youth develop differentiated creativity through diverse educational experiences combining technology and arts, and to assist in future career exploration. It will be an opportunity for children’s imaginations to become reality and to move closer to their dreams.”
