Starbucks Korea Launches Limited Edition 'Trenta' to Celebrate 24th Anniversary

The Trenta size was introduced in response to consistent requests from Korean customers who experienced this size in Starbucks locations in North America.

The operation period will be from the 20th of this month to September 30th, during which the Trenta size will be added as an iced cup size option for three popular summer beverages?'Cold Brew,' 'Grapefruit Honey Black Tea,' and 'Strawberry Acai Lemonade Starbucks Refresher'?at Starbucks stores nationwide.

Currently, the Trenta size beverage is sold only for certain drinks in Starbucks North America. This launch by Starbucks Korea is significant as it makes Korea the only country in the Starbucks Asia-Pacific region to offer this size.

Trenta means '30' in Italian, and the Trenta size holds 30 ounces (887ml). In the North American Starbucks stores, the iced beverage sizes currently offered are Tall (12oz, 355ml), Grande (16oz, 473ml), Venti (24oz, 591ml), and the largest size, Trenta (30oz, 887ml).

The three beverages available in the Trenta size during the limited sales period will be offered for takeout only, and sales may be restricted at some stores. Starbucks plans to consider expanding the availability of the Trenta size based on customer feedback and opinions after the limited sales period.
