Yeouido Bridge Top 50 Floors with 1,000 Households... Sintong Planning Fast Track No.1 Approved

The Daegyo Apartment in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, will be reconstructed into a 59-story, 1,000-unit complex through the Fast-Track Integrated Planning (Shintong Planning). This is the first project to proceed using the Shintong Planning advisory method (Fast-Track), and the project duration is expected to be significantly shortened.

The Daegyo Apartment Reconstruction Maintenance Project Association Establishment Promotion Committee announced on the 10th that the resident proposal submitted to Seoul City and Yeongdeungpo District Office was approved, and the project will proceed using the Shintong Planning advisory method.

Shintong Planning is a system where Seoul City directly plans and presents the direction of the project. The average time required to designate a maintenance zone can be reduced from 5 years to 2 years. In particular, the newly introduced Fast-Track skips the issuance of Seoul City’s planning design service order and only undergoes advisory review, further reducing the service order period (2 months) and planning design period (6 to 10 months).

The Daegyo Apartment plans to proceed with reconstruction by applying the Yeouido Financial Core District Unit Plan, consisting of a total of 4 buildings, with a maximum height of 59 floors (approximately 200 meters) and 1,000 units. Currently, the association establishment consent rate has surpassed 85%. The promotion committee aims to begin the association establishment and contractor selection procedures within this year. The committee plans to design the ultra-high-rise tower-type main buildings to allow panoramic views of the Han River from each unit.

Jeong Hee-seon, Vice Chairman of the Promotion Committee, said, “We are very pleased to be selected as Seoul City’s first Shintong Planning advisory method project site thanks to the active cooperation and support of Seoul City and Yeongdeungpo District Office.” He added, “Through continuous cooperation, we will promote fast and rational reconstruction, the original goal of Shintong Planning, and proceed at a rapid pace aiming to complete move-in by 2030, the earliest among Yeouido reconstruction complexes.”
