T'way Air Resumes Incheon-Saga Route Operation... "Only National Airline"

T'way Air announced on the 11th that it will resume flights on the Incheon-Saga route three times a week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) starting September 8.

T'way Air first launched the Incheon-Saga route in 2013, becoming the first domestic airline to operate this route, and continued service until 2019. Since T'way Air began direct flights to Saga, Saga International Airport has become more active, significantly contributing to attracting tourists to Saga Prefecture.

However, operations were suspended in 2019 due to a decline in Japanese passenger demand followed by the spread of COVID-19. The Incheon-Saga route will resume after about four years this September. Before COVID-19, in 2018 alone, the Incheon-Saga route operated 849 flights, transporting approximately 127,000 passengers, making it a representative popular route. From the winter season (starting October 29), the schedule for the Incheon-Saga route is expected to expand to four times a week.

Located in the northwest of the Kyushu region in Japan, Saga is a city famous for its beautiful natural environment and rich historical sites. It is well known for Takeo Onsen, where visitors can relax and rejuvenate, as well as its pottery villages. Additionally, it is a great place to experience Japanese culture and tradition with attractions such as Ureshino tea fields, Saga beef, traditional ryokan inns, and local cuisine.

To commemorate the resumption of the route, T'way Air will offer a special promotion on its website and mobile web (app) from 2 p.m. on the 11th until the 23rd of this month.

Promotional airfares start at a total of 63,500 KRW per person one-way, including fuel surcharges and airport taxes. The travel period for these promotional tickets is from September 8 to October 28, with some exceptions.

Additionally, entering the discount code ‘Saga’ when booking tickets will apply an extra 20% discount. The discount code applies to both one-way and round-trip reservations. However, the discount code cannot be applied to ultra-low fare tickets. Furthermore, a 20,000 KRW discount coupon will be provided for payments over 200,000 KRW.
