SK On regularly holds working-level division meetings and symposiums with these partners and carries out pro bono activities based on specialized capabilities such as ESG, quality, and manufacturing process efficiency. Pro bono is a Latin term meaning ‘for the public good (Pro bono public),’ referring to experts providing their professional services free of charge for the public (society).
They also share corporate infrastructure such as SK Group’s education platform ‘mySUNI’ and support loan interest for excellent partners through the Mutual Growth Fund. They plan to cooperate mutually in response to global supply chain management regulations such as the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
SK On has taken the lead in mutual growth. The proportion of domestic companies among the equipment installed at SK On’s sole factories in Georgia, USA, and the BlueOvalSK joint factory between SK On and Ford exceeds 90%. Some partner companies have actively expanded into overseas markets based on cooperation with SK On, conducting vigorous business activities in countries including the U.S. and Europe.
An SK On official said, "In line with the group’s core management philosophy of ‘pursuing the happiness of all stakeholders,’ we will pursue not only the competitiveness but also the happiness of our partners together."
