Yeosu Police Hold Integrated Solution for Protection and Support of Child Abuse Victims

Discussion on Measures for Returning to Daily Life After Escaping Abuse

On the 10th, the Yeosu Police Station in Jeollanam-do announced that it held an 'Integrated Solution Meeting' to establish multifaceted support measures for the protection and assistance of child abuse victims.


The meeting was attended by the head of the Women and Youth Division of Yeosu Police Station, the Yeosu City Child Protection Team, the Child Protection Agency, and a corporate donor of social contribution funds (Oil Hub Korea), among others.

The Integrated Solution Team is composed to collaboratively protect and support families in crisis, such as those experiencing domestic violence, child abuse, and elder abuse, through cooperation with related organizations.


This meeting was organized to discuss the protection and support of children within families who have been continuously subjected to abuse.


During the meeting, decisions were made regarding financial support through social contribution funds, psychological counseling to enhance children's learning abilities, and alcohol treatment for perpetrators.


The Yeosu Police stated, “We will regularly hold Integrated Solution case meetings and strive to protect and support victims,” adding, “We will implement support measures to help victims return to healthy family environments.”
