Proceeding with 'SsomSsom Project Season 2 TOYO in Jangheung' as an Opportunity
The National Mokpo University (President Song Ha-cheol) 3rd Phase Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Leading University Development Project Group (hereinafter referred to as the LINC 3.0 Project Group) announced on the 10th that on the 6th, it signed a "Mutual Agreement for Supporting Youth Entrepreneurship Settlement and RISE Cooperation in Jangheung Region" with five universities (National Mokpo University, Gwangju University, Dongshin University, Mokpo Maritime University?all LINC 3.0 Project Groups, and Chosun University Startup Support Group) and Jangheung County.
This agreement was carried out in conjunction with the "SomeSome Project Season 2 TOYO in Jangheung" and aims to support youth entrepreneurship and settlement in the Jangheung region, including the advancement of ideas derived through "TOYO in Jangheung," as well as to cooperate in the future Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE) project.

Through this agreement, each institution promised mutual cooperation in △ jointly hosting employment and entrepreneurship-related events △ advancing ideas and applying them practically in Jangheung County △ selecting Jangheung County supporters for participating universities.
The event was attended by Kim Seong, the head of Jangheung County, Lee Sang-chan, head of the National Mokpo University LINC 3.0 Project Group, Noh Seon-sik, head of Gwangju University, Jeong Gyeong-gwon, director of Dongshin University Center, Choi Hyun-jun, head of Mokpo Maritime University (all from the LINC 3.0 Project Group), Kim Ho-jung, head of Chosun University Startup Support Group, and officials from Jangheung County.
Kim Seong, head of Jangheung County, stated, "I am pleased to hold 'TOYO in Jangheung' in our region, and through this mutual agreement ceremony, I will strive to ensure that the ideas presented do not remain mere proposals but that participating students are selected and appointed as 'Jangheung Supporters' to achieve youth entrepreneurship and settlement in the Jangheung region."
Meanwhile, the National Mokpo University LINC 3.0 Project Group has been conducting the "SomeSome Project" since 2020, starting in Mokpo, and has been continuously holding camps around the Jeonnam area for regional development.
Additionally, in November, they plan to participate in the nationwide "SomeSome Project" to present ideas related to ESG management of companies in Tongyeong.
