Induction into the 'Hall of Fame' for This Year's Dobong District Residents' Awards

Dobong-gu Selects Dobong Residents of the Year and Holds 'Dobong Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony' on July 5

Nameplates engraved with the names and photos of the 2023 Dobong Residents of the Year awardees are attached to the 'Dobong Hall of Fame' on the 1st floor of Dobong-gu Office

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) held the 2023 Dobong Residents of the Year induction ceremony at Dobong-gu Office on the 5th.

The Dobong Residents of the Year award is given annually to residents and organizations that have made significant contributions to the development of the local community. Awardees receive a plaque, and a nameplate is installed in the 'Dobong Hall of Fame' located on the 1st floor of the district office.

This year’s Dobong Residents of the Year awardees are ▲ Seoul Novus Hospital for Community Development category (organization) ▲ Jeong Yong-hwan for Social Service category (individual) ▲ Uiseong Korean Medicine Hospital for Social Service category (organization) ▲ Dobong-gu Sports Council for Culture and Sports Promotion category (organization) ▲ Jang Young-soon for Public Morality category ▲ and a Special Award to Mr. Lim Seung-hyun.

The induction ceremony proceeded with each awardee, introduced by category, attaching their nameplate engraved with their name and photo to the 'Dobong Hall of Fame' alongside Mayor Oh Eon-seok, followed by a commemorative photo session.

Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, “The efforts and dedication of the awardees go beyond interest and participation in the local community, exerting a positive influence throughout society,” and added, “You who contribute to making Dobong a warm and happy place through sharing and volunteering are the true faces and heroes of Dobong.”
