Exhibition Commemorating the Opening Featuring 6 Donated Works by Expatriate Artist Jo Gyuseok

Gyeongsan City announced on the 9th that it has completed the remodeling of the Gyeongsan City Hall main building to foster a citizen-centered happy Gyeongsan and opened a small art gallery in the main lobby.


To provide local artists with exhibition opportunities and allow citizens to easily access artworks, a small exhibition space was created in the main lobby of City Hall. Six works, including "Nammaeji Mot," which depicts Gyeongsan, are on display among over 140 donated pieces by the expatriate artist Cho Gyuseok.

Baek Shinkyu, head of the Gyeongsan City Accounting Department, said, "We will regularly introduce local artists and continuously provide opportunities to easily encounter various works, creating a space where citizens can heal."
