In the first half of this year, newly registered new energy vehicles (electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, hydrogen vehicles) in China reached 3.13 million units, marking an all-time high.
According to Beijing Youth Daily on the 8th, the number of newly registered new energy vehicles in the first half of this year was 3.128 million units. This represents a 41.6% increase compared to the same period last year, making it the largest scale ever recorded.
The total number of newly registered vehicles in the first half of this year was 16.88 million units, a 1.9% increase compared to the same period last year. The number of new driver's licenses issued was 11.91 million, an 8% increase.
Meanwhile, the number of drivers licensed for powered engine vehicles reached 513 million, of which 92.7% were licensed for automobile driving.
